My great-grandmother was a wonderful and very insightful (and feisty) woman. She loved life which I believe is why she made it to the fantastic age of 92. These photos make me think of her because she used to say...
"When I was young, smokestacks were called progress and now they're just pollution."
These shots were taken in South-Western Wyoming in the summer of 2008 with a Canon 5D.
